removing side decals - Renault Twingo

Hi guys, wondering if you had any advice for removing the side chequred flag decals from a Twingo GT, they are all faded and need replaced, bit worried with the car being red too, any suggestions? just the usual hair dryer and machine polish afterwords? any recomeded polish or with AG SRP be fine?

yeah i'd just say hair dryer, but don't make it too hot that it damages the paint, and hopefully it wont need too much polishing, but any should be ok

A bit of heat should help. Some tar and glue remover will remove any residue left and a polish will bring the colour back up (though it's likely to be the rest of the car that's faded a bit and not the bit under the decal). A better pure polish for use by hand would be G/techniq P1.

yeah suppose it would be best just to polish the full car anyway, was planning on going over it with the PC anyway!
