Removing Clio II steering wheel remote

Seen several posts where people are not sure about how to remove the steering wheel remote on a Clio 2. So I thought I'd post this and hope it helps some folks.

Remove top steering binnacle cover (gently pry up end nearest steering wheel). Thi8s is also covered in other posts about removing dash.

The remote unit is held into the steering column assy. by a small plastic 'spigot'/hook. This needs to be depressed with a small flat blade screwdriver where shown red on the picture below.



Unit then pops out from lower cover complete with radio/display link cable/s.
