If the keys you have bought haven't been programmed yes you can.

Im gonna ask a renault tec for data on this subject when i get mine done soon as it seems to be a very grey area tbh.
Think it would be usefull to the forum if someone could provide more info with regards to keys and submit it into they guides section/sticky it as things along these lines are asked alot and 90% of the time a proper answer isn't given as no one has a clue.

I was a renault tech, when theyve been programmed to a car then they cant be re-programmed to another car ( not using renaults software anyway )

this is the grey area i was talking about. So would that imply (sp?) that it can be done?

Possibly, but ive never heard of it. some clio keys need to be ordered to the VIN number, these keys will only ever work on that car that they're ordered to. They will start the car without programming but they need programming for the central locking.

The other type of key (virgin key) needs programming both for the immobiliser and for the central locking, once programmed to that car it wont work on another clio.

IIRC they went to virgin plips some time in 01, a replacement for yours may have to be issued from Renault France, so you might be looking at a 2 week wait, and a bill for ~£150

its 99% certain those other keys you have will be useless

once a key has been programmed to a car , it CANNOT be programmed to another car.
if your has whats know as avirgin key , you can buy this off the shelf , if its a key ordered to chassis number , up to a 2 week wait for it to come from france.
with coding the keys , some mobile specialists can do them , but you will need to get the immobiliser code from a renault dealer and that wont be easy , some wont give it full stop. some have rolling codes which can only be given via the renault diagnostic tool. (renault clip ).
