Rear dampers/shocks

Quick one my offside rear shock is making a horrible rattling noise. Taking the rubber cap off in the boot reveals a lot of movement and looking under the arch shows a metal like mushroom wobbling around!

My question is when buying new shocks will you get new rubber top mounts or would just buying new top mounts rectify this?

Pretty sure the mounts are separate? Iirc, the bolt section of the top of the damper passes through and the locking nut screwed on top accordingly.

Been a while since I've done mine though.
