I have just been reading a bit on here and just wondered...how rare is it for a Mk2 Ph1 rs clio to have the alloy bonnet?? a few links ive read are talking as if they are gold dust!!! surely renault didnt only put them on a couple of clios!! and whats so special about them other than they are a bit lighter

They put them on Clios before 'Enter the reg letter here' (X i think)?

They are just lighter, thats the only special thing about them.

They all do bud, even the mk3's I think.

my brothers ph1 172 is an x reg and has an alloy bonnet. light as f**k!

My Phase 1 is on a Y plate and doesnt have the Alloy bonnet, there lighter than carbon bonnet's apparently

mines the alloy bonnet and its f**king light just intrigued i guess to see if renault just did there usual of only doing something on a few 172 as they ran out of the alloy bonnets lol.....can you still get them from renault??
