I'm wondering if there are any pads which work acceptably from cold, survive on track on a standard power 172 and have R90 European approval?
EBC Yellowstuff do, I've emailed them to confirm bluestuff and they arent approved.
Ferodo aren't type approved
Mintex 1144 seem to not be approved but some 1155 are.
I'm aware that R90 includes a 15% margin on performance, which basically rules out anything offering better braking, but surely it is possible for someone to produce a pad which stops with similar performance to standard across a much greater heat range?
