Quick Question!

Alright lads, basically my 172 rear shocks are leaking, I believe it is on coil-overs already. Basically I want to know whether I need to replace just the shocks and if so what ones do I need to replace them with (IE standard), or do I need to find out the exact coil-overs I have fitted and replace shocks with the exact ones?

Might sound like a bit of a stupid question, so sorry!!

If it's coilovers I'd guess you'd need a replacement rear pair as you always do suspension for both sides

It really depends on what set up is on the car.

For example KW v2 Coilovers use Koni rear shocks so you 'could' replace them with another set of Koni shocks rather than KW ones.

If it's still on standard suspension then you can sling anything you want on.

You really need to:

A. Get some photos of front and rear suspension.

B. Decide if you have coil overs or not and if so which ones.

Once you've done that we can help a bit better.
