problems with second gear

had my clio 182 for about 6000miles now and im noticing theres problems changing into second from first when giving it some beans.
theres no issue with changing into it when being loving and healthy to my dear steed.
im no engineer or mechanic, so technical stuff = :S for me.
is there a problem which would explain why the gear box would experience problems changing at high revs out of first but not at low revs or a problem with my changing?

problem with syncromesh or your clutch i think i take it you mean 60.000 miles?

ive had the car only 6000. its currently got 39k on clock.
syncromesh/ clutch doesnt sound cheap
