Problem with MS Office 07

Ive spent aaaages looking over the net for a fix for this but cannot find anything that works.

Have any of you on here had the same?

Ive installed Office 07 on Vista today on my new Dell, and Office works fine, however when you open any of the programmes you have to sit through 2 minutes of

" please wait while office configures office 2007"

getting really annoying now, if anyone has a fix for this would be great

I've come across this before at work.

I ran CCleaner to cleanup the Registry and restarted. That sorted it..

I take it that you've installed SP2 for Office 2007 as well?

I've run the ccleaner but that didn't help. Ill try sp2 when I get home thanks

If not uninstall it. Restart. Run CCleaner both to clean registry and your OS (Ticking all the boxes except Wipe Free Space at the bottom)

Then restart again and Install Office 2007 once more.
