Problem with loss of power/misfiring on load !

Hi,

Having intermittent problem with my 182 losing power at around 3 k 50/55 mph it just dies then a second or two later it kicks back in , had to drive home over 100 miles at 40 mph couple weeks back running OK but as soon as i put load on engine above this speed and rev it just misfired and died.

Changed the usual suspects - plugs , leads, coil pack and ran OK for 8 weeks now problem back. Really don't want to be replacing everything, has anyone had same problem and got answer ???

Check your injectors, more often than not it will throw up EML, but not always

Hi Kane,

Cheers for the reply, not had any lights up or fault codes on reader. Changing the crank sensor this week and like you said looking at injectors next just don't want to be replacing everything just to have problem return !
