Powerline Network Adapters

Im thinking of buying a pair of powerline ethernet network adapters so I get a good connection to Xbox live upstairs rather than using my xbox wireless adapter.

Can anyone recommend a decent pair for me please?

This looks like a bargain...RRP is about £130, selling them for £55!

Really good reviews and look like the cheapest out there at £40 a pair! Anyone got these?

have a look on ebay for a bt vision box, they sell for sub 30 quid and they come with a set of adapters in the box, then just sell on the bt vision box again and they will have cost you pennies. eg: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/bt-vision-box...14&_trkparms=72:1690|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

I've installed the PC World own brand ones that were about £40 for a pair and they were piece of piss to setup and worked a treat.

I've got a pair of Netgear 85mb ones, work well.

I've used Devolo before, currently using Zyxel. Both have been OK, think powerline ethernet seems to be much of a muchness, not much difference between the brands. Not sure if I would mix brands though.

Given the feedback on that eBay user I'd suspect that if you'd won that auction you'd have won a big bag of nothingness.

Nightmare! Didn't send item and would not refund. Resolution centre sorted it!

I do however agree, the comtrend powerline adaptors are good (the ones that BT supply) and are generally gettable from eBay at around the 30 quid mark.
