Power Steering leak on 172, Help!!!

Hi,

Have got a power steering leak on my 2003 172.

I have found the leak but need some help identifing the pipe name/part number and also repair options as it looks like a bast@rd to get to.

The pipe is leaking where a bracket holding the exhaust heat shield has been rubbing against the solid aluminium pipe. The pipe is located at the back of the engine under the exhaust manifold near where the drivers driveshaft comes out of the gearbox. I can only see it and access it from underneath the car, its not the pipe from the tank to the pump but looks like it is possibly a pipe from the pump going to somewhere? The Pipe is not straight it has a few bends in it.
The hole must only be tiny so not sure about repair options?

I have done a temparary fix and bent the heat shield so it is no longer touching but its not gonna last forever.

Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ian

If its the pipe that goes around the engine then its £177 + vat.

I would guess it'll take a hour or 2 to fit as well.
