possible 182 at bargain price but do i sell my cup ???

there is a high possability that there is a mint 55 reg 182 in silver low miles 1 owner getting traded in where i work dont think it has cup pack tho as it dosent have dark alloys and no splitter (am i right ? my gf has a 182 and that has the above,im still new to the clio seen),i origainally wanted a 182 but my budget couldnt stretch to a 182,so i settled with a mint 1 owner 172 cup,i love the cup its so much fun and ive put alot of work into it so far but after seeing the 182 yesterday and hearing how much it was (if it comes in)it got me thinking(really like the 182 looks).i know there cant be much in it performance wise as mine sits with 182,s no bother plus i have a couple of mods.what should i do ?? feedback would be appreciated guys

my gf has a 182 and that is a quick 1,my 172 keeps up with it tho,i had a go of a 182 cup not long back (my friend works at renault) and that felt gutless,the more i think about it the more im incline just to hang onto cup.

If u want luxuries , comfort then upgrade 2 a 182ff or 172ff. If your not interested in that then stay with the cup.

I would only swap if the miles were stupidly low compared to your cup or you wanted leather, climate, xenons etc

if you have a cup, i dont see why you would then get a 182. There would be no considerable notice in power between the two, nor in looks (not like if you were upgrading from a Clio 1.4 or 1.6 to an RS). If you like your cup still and you have put a bit of money into it as you have said, then surely keeping the cup would be the best option for you

Darling ur only jelous cos mines newer haha! Keep the cup u know i dont rate the silver ones plus i cant cope with ur whinging if its not as nice as ur cup! At least u know the cup inside out and whatever the faults were are now fixed, why take on more "problems" if u wanna drive a 182 u can borrow mine ! xx

I got rid of a mint 172 Cup for my RB 182Cup.Nothing in it performance wise except in the wet.

But for a silver non-cupped 182 ?...........only if it was a straight swap IMHO

right seen the car today was offered it for strate 6k but after a test drive ect i can definatly live without the luxuries(although the seats were really nice) the cup felt sharper quicker and genrally more a fun car to drive,i normally change my cars quite oftern but i really do love the cup so he is staying put thanks for all feedback guys(yes hun yours is newer but mine is quicker lolx)gaz

No they dont at all..
Had both and the 172 dont look as good.
I prefer the twin exhaust and the extra comfort u get with the 182

Plus the 172 cup might as well come without brakes for the fact
lot of good they do...
