PK55 HTZ 182

Hi Guys,
This morning I have just purchased a Silver 182 (don't collect until next Sat).
Reg is PK55 HTZ - anyone recognise the plate or have any info on the car? It would be appreciated.
Never had one of these before and this morning was my first experience driving one and I was very surprised with the performance.
The car itself is mint apart from a few scuffed wheels which i'm having refurbed plus the dreaded thumb grips on the steering wheel.
Anyway, im looking forward to many happy miles in it!

Yes, and probably the cause of thumb grip failure, sea water's a bugger for that!

Davvy .... you read my mind! was typing that as your message got added! But Snappy is the go to guy for steering wheel refurbishment! I've had 2 Snappy wheels, both spot on! Cost you about £140 ish (depending on what you want), but worth every penny!

I will post as soon as I get it.
Its currently on 84,000 miles but there is no proof of the belts having been done. But as part of the sale they have agreed to a belt change, water pump and dephaser.
Its got FSH and is standard apart from a K-TEC decat.

Knock the price off and take it to a local specialist for the work to be done.

Or me.. I'm as good as a specialist!

Sounds good! If the belts are being done, make sure its by someone using the correct genuine Renault Cambelt tools... and someone who knows what they are doing!!

Don't knock davvy.He timed my car up last weekend
OK it blew up down the road,but I blame that on the weather

Luckily I know the garage where the work will be done and I've taken my cars there for years so I trust the work will be done correctly.

hmmmm....... just be aware, sometimes a fairly good, competent mechanic whos great with most cars can c**k these up.. If they dont use the correct tools, the timing will be wrong....
