Petrol Cap

Hi,

I'm hoping you can help me please?

I have a MK3 dynamique S and for whatever reason, the fuel cover won't lock. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

My understanding is, when you lock the car, a little bar should come down inside the petrol cap and stop it from opening, however this isn't the case, whether its locked or unlocked.

Any ideas as to what it would be?

Thanks, is it an easy fix? How much to get it repaired?

Pretty easy if your handy With the spanners. Remove the offside boot trim and it's behind there. About £40 for the part I think.
