pads or bearing

I've started getting a rotational grinding - drone noise seems from the rear. Gets louder with speed.

I've quickly jacked it up and there isn't excessive movement when rocking the wheel but definitely a grinding when I spin the wheel.

My pads I know are well past there best and I'm ordering new discs and pads including bearings but for now so I can be happier driving is it just totally shagged pads sticking or the bearing?

would imagine it is more likely to be bearing, that said i did get a similar (albiet lesser noise) when my calipers were binding
