Depends. I find I get better starts if set the revs at around 3.5k and slip the clutch a bit.... too much wheelspin otherwise. That said, Im not much of a driver, so I could be doing it completely wrong lol...
i vary between 3.5 - 4 depending on mood and if im racing. I doubt you mean normall driving but if you do 3.5 - 4 thousand rpm will see you straight to renault for a new clutch.
I get mine to bite at 2500 and as soon as the clutch hits the top, floor it. Wheels tend to feather a bit (Slight wheel spin and a bit of squeeling) all the way to 2nd gear change.
