Oil Leak!

Hello

I've got a 1.6 16valve 2003 Clio

Discovered there seems to be a oil leak the other day from the car.

Its coming from the area underneath the water pump!

Both belts have been done, last year.

The old fella has had a look and the water pump was loose, so thats been tightened back up.

Any one any idea what it could be?

are you sure its oil??
from the water pump?? :S

sounds very odd,

also, if the waterpumps come loose, it may need a new gasket so seal it again,

thats a new one on me, are you sure thats what he said?
as in order to tighten it back up again the cambelt covers would have had to been removed, in which case he'd of seen the oil leak??

not making sense, could be a cam/crank seal
