Nyloc nut size

Can anyone tell me what size nut is supposed to fit on here please? The old one is knackered and the ones from the assorted set I got from Halfords don't seem to want to go on.
The original was 16 mm the new 17mm also and they really just don't seem to want to go on

Can you take a picture holding a ruler up to the thread and I might be able to tell you.

Nah came with the locking nut for the TRE inner but not the nut itself. Fucked one up thought I'd cross threaded it but now just realised is probably the wrong M10! Doh

Went genuine Renault, wish I hadn't been an arse ache from start to finish. The rubber gaiter on the Inner was truly miserable
