New Member, looking for a new track toy.

  Clio 172 Cup
Hi folks

I've been looking into buying a 172/182 as a replacement track car as I am currently breaking my evo 4 sprint/hill climb car and looking for a slightly cheaper car to still have a bit of fun in. After buying a new house and getting married motorsport has unfortunately been knocked off the priority podium and theres only so much expensive repair bills i can deal with. i blew the turbo at knockhill last year and decided to break the car to try and gain back as much as i can from it.

Heres a link to my old project http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=249383&highlight=Evo

quite like the idea of doing a turbo conversion on a 172/182 at some point as I like getting stuck in with the spanners.

anyway just thought I'd make the effort to introduce myself

Yeah I've been doing a lot of reading up on which turbos to use and which management to use etc. I think the plan will be to buy and use the car on track in slightly modified form but build another engine in my spare time and do the swap once I gather all the bits together

The forum is certainly is good for sing knowledge and I'm sure ill have plenty questions to ask!
