I am Daryl, just picked up a ph1 172 over the weekend, moving back to my fun little cars after having a MK4 Golf GTI 1.8T.

Nice to be back behind a wheel of a car that you can properly drive after have a 106gti and Glanza before.

Should know a few of the South East guys on here where ever they are hiding in amongst this place.

Info on your 172? Ie price, mileage colour, mods etc.

Picked it up with 117k miles just had fresh discs and pads fitted. cambelt done 5k ago.

No mods done to it, yet. In silver on the standard ph1 172 alloys.

Paid £650 for it, think it may possibly need new rear shocks as the back end felt a little light this morning driving to work
