Hi Guys,
I've been a member on cliodci.net for a while now, but there really isnt much happening on here, plus many members on here have been very helpful!
I bought my dCi100 just over a year ago, after some woman rear ended me and wrote off my 65...
This really is just a daily driver so I havent spent much, just regular servicing, plus some genuine Renault floor mats, and some flatblade front wipers...
I have gone through a few springs and dampers too, luckily I could piler these off my 65, but they didnt last long, so, as of last week I properly started on my quest to improve the handling...
Here is the car:
I did put my turinis from my Corsa (originally from a cup) on it for a while, as the standard wheels were having new tyres - it handled well with 205/45/16s...
It took a long time to choose the right set up, I even considered cooksport springs... I didnt want to spend much, so in the end went with Koni STR T dampers, with H&R Springs...
Goodies:
Out with the old:
nom nom nom:
more old...
new vs. old:
all together with new top mounts:
ta da!
old rears - both rear springs were snapped (right at the bottom luckily)
rears:
new on:
All back together and looking epic!
Better photos will follow!
