My first pics with my new Nikon D40

Hi all,

These are my first pics I've taken with my Nikon 40, had the camera since Christmas but haven't got around to using it yet so today i decided to take it out and give it a try. First impressions is that its a really good camera much better than what i have had before i.e sony cyber shot camera etc. Anyway took it to Penshaw Monument which is just around the corner from where i live and it was a chance to walk the dog at the same time and also the missus. lol

Nice pics, I wish I got UV filter etc sorted for my D40, as I love it on my new camera for bright outside photography.
