did you spray your door strips yourself or did a shop do it for you?

if you did it, how did they turn out?

How do you fair with car insurance because technicaly its your insurance is void if you telling them its a standard car
if it got stolen or bumped you are screwed

out of interest, how did you go about fitting the side skirts? and did u fit front splash shields in the arches?

The side skirts have been drilled and rivitted on by myself. they only go on with the sport arches. the arches are supported by sport arch liners as they are slightly bigger. And yeah its a 1.2. but who is to know ;)

It may look the part and have cheaper overal running costs, but to put 2.0 and RS badges on it is just asking for embarrasment.

Sorry, but it's a 1.2 with a bodykit. Just because it's a Renault bodykit, doesn't make it any more acceptable than

To true

I had this when i was 17 yrs, i has a Escort RS turbo replica it had a 1.1 engine, i didn't half get laughed when trying to accelerate past a bus

this guy is gonna get every boy racer under the sun pushing him on the roads....and with no engine to back it up

i'am so glad i'm past all this replica s**t

Sorry mate, but this place loves replicas.
especially if they're dressed up to look like CS-grade 1*2's (tuirini's, no suspension travel etc.)
:boring:

who cares what other people think mate, its your money!

I like it.

Couldnt agree more.

I had a 1.4 replica before i got my sport. It had 2.0L bullets on it and a RS badge on the back. Who cares what the people preech in here.

If you get a boy racer up your arse and flashing your lights doesnt mean this guys going to race them and show the precious clio sport up.

Just to clear up, im not up for street racing... so no embaracement for me. no matter how many corsas want to throw me the bait, non of them will succeed. I like it and most of the people on here like it. just because a few people on here who think there super-car standard 1*2 is rapid and can outrun all things on the road dont like it because they cant afford their insurance or are having problems with their thirsty engines that cost more than double to tax than mine wont stop me liking it. :)

Insurance may be higher, but it's just about it looks, the chances of him crashing a 2.0 over a 1.2 a lot higher

Looks fantastic btw, how much did all the parts cost?

Insurance is about 50 pounds more as its not standard and are classed as optional extras as its standard renault parts. and all the parts cost about 300 pounds all together. and most people will say oh why didnt you just put that towards a clio sport. And my answer is that i saved about 400 pounds off the car when i bought it as the air bag was faulty. so i fixed the airbag light for free through a mate and bought the sport parts with the spare cash :)
