Gonna be making a start on refurbing the old Speedlines tomorrow.

Here's the worst one at the moment.

Following on from this post....

I had a brainwave a couple days back during a shift at work. A wheel brush was in no way getting rid of the ~90k miles of road grime/brake dust on the inner rim. Then it hit me; a kitchen scourer, along with the usual Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner in 4:1.

From the above, to:

Didn't need much effort either.

'Only' another 3 to do and then it's painting time.

It's just the full wiring in the doors matey. Unplug them from the donor car, and plug them in to yours.

Fitting the motors is a bit more tricky but easy enough with two people.

Just payed for these badlads from a lovely chap over on the TA forums.

Oz Audio Vector 3 17cm Comps

Should be with me Friday/Saturday all going well.

Will needs quite a bit of fabrication being 17cm (standard door allocations are 13cm) but I'll be making my own pods with the tweeters going in the a pillars. Progress will ofcourse be kept up to date in here.
