Milltek.

So how much should I expect to get in BHP gains on my 182 if i fit the whole system?

Very few, a few more if you put a decat on it as well.

Edit: turns out very little was optimistic. Will sound good though.

Thing is...I dont like the sound of the Yozzasport one. To me it sounds a bit too brash. Im gonna go Milltek. Ive done alot of online research and it seems that most people are delighted with them. Its not really noise im after just a good aftermarket exhaust.

seen a few suspect welds on recent milteks but i had one on my golf a few years back and didnt have any issues....
guess it may have just been a bad batch???!!

You see i heard that Milltek were the only company that use a proper rolling road to develop their exhaust systems...

I very much doubt that. Regardless if they use a rolling road or not, an exhaust isn't going to give you any power. It's all about sound, look and build quality. The milltek has the first two covered well, but there are others with better build quality.

Having said that, a mate of mine used to have a milltek on his st and it was brilliant for two years. Faultless.

I have got a milltek had it on for a year. Personal i think its brilliant never had a problem also sounds nice, not to loud. Don't forget you get a liftime guarantee!

loads of companies do. Supersprint rolling road test each one, Janspeed have a rolling road. Even we send vehicles to a rolling road when developing most exhaust parts. For example our Lupo GTI exhaust manifold got a healthy 10bhp. Its certainly better than plucking a figure out of thin air.

having a decat usually means you have the cat safe in the garage 364 days of the year and 1 day fitted to your car..

The advantage of the ktec ones is that they are renault specialists... Their attentions isn't spread between many brands and car makers. That has to result in a more thoroughly developed product I would imagine.

AHHHH this is doing my nut!!! Janspeed, K-tec, Magnex, Yozza, milltek...WHICH f**king ONE!?!!?!? I want it to sound beefy without soundling the idiots in their honda chav-ics that want a silly boy racer exhaust note!! I also want quality and reliability!

I love my Miltek, when it sits right it's the best looking IMO. Fills the cut outs nicely. Had no quality problems either, seems fine to me.

As long as you keep your cat none of them will be too silly on the volume side of things.
Tbh, you're never going to get a definitive answer on a forum, people like different things and have their own experiences with certain manufacturers.

Your best bet is to have a look at pictures, videos on YouTube etc and make your decision.

  182 has now gone!
I have a Miltek on my 182, not had any probs.. Sound is not loud, very subtle which is what I wanted..

  GONE!!Yozza'd BG 182
i am to after a exhaust and after all of my research i think the supersport ktr is the one for me, would love a yozza but no one seems arsed to make them anymore

more than a year with the milltek now and it's fine. they had problems with the welds in the past, I asked them about this and there was a bad batch. anyway, the guys who experienced problems got their parts replaced under warranty, so customer service is spot on. it sounds the way you want to and the tail pipes look good
Having said that if money were no problem I'd buy a BTB or a yozza which are a bit more expensive.
BTB because I like the way the bends in the pipework are made
yozza because obviously it's the best rated here.
Between the BTB and the yozza the BTB will sound deeper if that's what you're after
OR if I'd be a billionaire I'd get an orbisound for abot 1k :D (don't know if they're still available)

I searched for months looking for the orbisoud exhaust when I was looking at which Clio to buy, couldn't find one anywhere. Either they're not for sale or they're very well hidden. I tested a 182 with a milltek and it sounded gorgeous, so if they've sorted the welding issue, you can't really go wrong.
