Andy Barratt has just confirmed it's called the Heritage Edition and marks 50 years since the Escort was released...the orange pays homage to the mk2 RS2000 that came in a very similar shade of orange.

No mention of spec yet but would imagine/hope it comes with the (already warranty friendly) 375 kit fitted.

It seems that I may well be in with a shout after all if it does eventually turn out to be true (many are still saying it's clearly fake)! My vlogging, love for the brand, and the fact that I'd run it as a daily and not either wrap it in cotton wool or flip it bumps me up the list a bit.

Cost to change is likely to be circa £10k (if I can get a half decent private sale on my current one)...would the limited Orange one of fifty be worth £10k more than my Magnetic one will be in ten years time? I think that's highly likely.

This is becoming more and more something I really should do!

Completely unknown at this point. Expected to have the carbon bits, shell seats, and front LSD of the Edition models, likely to have the forged wheels as standard, hoped that it has FPM375 fitted.

For what it's worth I think the carbon seats are much more comfortable than the regular ones. Bit of a shame they're not heated though.

And I'd be surprised if a front diff made it less playful.

Looks good there, though the Focus picture looks a bit rubbish in my opinion. I still think the blue is the best colour, but totally understand wanted something (very) limited edition!

Not even the faintest sniff! The dealership group I deal with were not allocated a single one, when I spoke to the salesman I deal with he was royally pissed off as they'd all gone to groups more closely aligned with or owned by Ford.
