Lowering rear end, handling implications?

  172 Cup
Hi all

I fitted a set of eibach sportlines to my 182 a few weeks ago and love the handling and arch clearance at the front, but from a looks point of view the rear is a bit on the high side!

I know it is possible to have the springs wound tighter in order to lower it further, but as I only want the rears lower will this negatively affect the handling (I know on a mini doing this ruins the handling!)?

Bearing that in mind, i think coilsprings.co.uk claim to keep the spring rates the same when they modify their springs

Nothing to do with spring rates at all. All to do with Rake, the difference in height between the front and rear. This effects the handling dramatically.
