Loss of power

So i was driving home last night, going quick but not really pushing the car and suddenly i had no power, it just stuck at 50mph and the coil looking light bellow the petrol light came on. I pulled over and re started and no problem, it didnt happen again and not this morning where i really gave it some!! Any idea's tech gods??

What did you do about it? was it an exspensive to repair?
