Looking to buy a shed

hi, i drive a clio 03 1.216v, IMO its a nice car, however, im in search of an absolute sh*tter so i can park it willy nilly, without having to worry about young boys making bonfires out of cars, right next to mine. (when im not staying at home)

any ideas on the perfect car to fit this job? please consider i am only 18, in a medium crime rate area.

cheers

I wouldnt buy any ancient renault. Would cost too much to repair and keep on the road. Novas are cheap, or an old Fiesta?

how about and old audi, a renault 5 gt an old turbo diesel corsa and turn the boost up and have urself a 90hp diesel

if reliablity isnt important then there are cheap cars out there

Get an ol Audi Quattro. Surely they are classics now and insurance will be cheap(classic insurance)

Mk1 Astra GSi. or an MK1 Escort or Mexcio. Now theres an old shed and a bit of fun. All rear wheel drive i think so you can go sideways everywhere. Buy a battered one, Slowly over the years re-con the beast, and youll make some money! ;)

I gather your Fully Comp on your Policy? If you insure it under Parents name for dirt cheap, you will be insured Third Party. Mum or Dad would get insured for v.v.v.cheap 200-300 squid. Sorted! :D

If you want something old. Buy a Jap or a German car. I had a VW Polo which I bought for 200 quid. Robust, reliable albeit a bit slow.

I got a Peugeot 205 Automatic... perfect for bombing around town... it was an mot failure... couple of split cv boots and new brake pads needid... an afternoons work... all in all cost less than £200 ... reliable too... dead simple to work on if anything plays up...

I got a Fiat Tipo 1.4 if you want it for £500. All servicing done, itll run another 100k now after I just had the head reconditioned.

Yeah I got a nice 6 footer last year, proper felt roof and eaves, all pre-stained and everything, only £185 from Homebase.

Ive got the same car as you bud, I was thinking about doing the same thing, ive always wanted a beetle so I was thinking about buying an old one. Cheap to repair rust a bit but what doesnt!
