Need to get my cv boot fixed asap, apart from the noise doing my nut it, it needs doing, preferably before this weekend as I have a long drive to make on Saturday and I should have got it done sooner really!!
I'm fussy about who I trust with my car so not sure where to take it.

Finish at 4, just thought it wouldnt be possible as i'd have to probably leave it over there? Don't know how much of a job it is to do, I should have got it done sooner, i'm just hoping to god I haven't damaged the drive shaft! :S

The person who did my service including my cam belt (worryingly) did a brake upgrade for me as well. Brembo max and ds2500's. But he didn't take off the brake shins, which caused the pads to bond to the discs, not work very well (felt really spongy too) and make a hell of a clonking noise in reverse and everytime i turned to the left! Simple fix though, Fred took off the shins and they should be ok when they are worn down a bit more.

Claims are a joke mate! The lad who hit me in October is still denying it, my insurance sent me a letter to tell me he is being issued with court proceedings, not quite sure what that entails but fingers crossed the lying little cnut will be found out!
The girl who hit me back in July is kind of sorted, they paid out in December, have been waiting for a courtesy car since january though!! I might just give up on that one tbh, an accident management company was instructed by her insurers, i sent them off the estimate and everything in Jan, everytime i rang up i just kept getting told its with the engineers and still waiting for approval, kicked up a bit of a fuss the other week telling them it cant take 3 months to approve a claim, to which i got told they hadnt even received my estimate in the first place.....bloody jokers! It makes me fuming! Insurance companies are an absolute joke, makes me wonder what the hell we pay if for! I have a damaged car through no fault of my own and no one seems to be able to do anything to help me sort it out.
The bloke who hit me in the side best not get away with it though, i am absolutely raging about it! Little twunt!
Anyway rant over lol, it tends to get me a bit worked up as it is so frustrating, but I will not give up!
