RS200 inner CV boot

  clio rs200
Hi folks.

The inner CV boot on my right hand side driveshaft is split. It's a 2009 RS200.

Is this inner boot replaceable, or does it require a new driveshaft? I'm seeing conflicting information around.

My plan was:
  • undo lower balljoint on hub
  • remove driveshaft (once the big nut is removed on the end is removed, does the driveshaft just pull out? And do I need to drain the transmission oil?)
  • Remove old boot, pull the joint apart and put a new boot on.
  • Any additional tips are welcome!

Thanks
