Lawro's Clio Replacement

I have been meaning to upload some photos of the clio's replacement for a while but only just got round to it..

So here we go;

2003 '52 Audi TT 225 1.8T 20V BAM with full Genuine Quattro Sport Kit.

Brief Spec:
-Full Black Leather
-Heated Seats
-BOSE Sound System
-Cruise Control
-Climate Control
-Xenons
-QS Kit

The history on the car is unbelievable, which is part of the reason I purchased it. Just 2 owners from new and has been to Audi for literally everything maintenance wise since new, folders of history, even as far as having the washer fluid filled up at £15 a go! It's nuts..

My initial plan was to buy the car and enjoy it as it already had a pretty decent set of modifications but as per, the list has grown and currently sits as follows:

KW V2 Coilovers
KW Rear Control Arms
R32 H&R Antiroll Bars
Defcon5 Sleeves
Haldex Blue Controller
15mm Front H&R spacers
25mm Rear H&R spacers
323mm LCR Front Brembo Setup
Brembo HC Discs Front & Rear with Ferodo DS1.11 Pads
Badger5 Braided Lines with ATE Superblue Fluid
TTRS Brake Ducts
Genuine 18" RS-TT's with Michelin Pilot Sport 3's.

Badger5 Stage2 Software
Pipewerx 3" Downpipe & Decat
Pipewerx 3" Catback System
Forge Front Mounted Intercooler
Forge 008P Recirc Valve
N249 Delete
SFS Upper & Lower Boost Pipes

Plus a few cosmetic bits like German rear clusters etc..

Anyway, it's a great laugh really enjoying it so far.. The grip is hilarious and it's not too shy in a straight line either!

It looks very nice and in very good condition mate, but im not a fan of hair dresser cars, although it does look an excellent example mate.

Cheers guys, I'm really pleased with it so far! Such a nice place to be and it's amazing how much car you get for your money. It will never be anywhere near as mint as the Clio but im happy with that because at least I can use and enjoy it.

His bottom end lasted 4 months before a hole in the piston appeared. New engine time for him.

Ouch! The pistons and crank are normally pretty strong on the BAM's, it's the rods that are the issue with excessive torque.

Just a few new photos from over the last few months..

Went to the Nurburgring at the start of October. The car was completely faultless, and performed well beyond what I was expecting.

I still need to sort through my photos, so just a quick mandatory shot of the complex for the time being..

Lovely, lovely place so took the opportunity for a few shots.

Car wise, no updates other than a full engine and Haldex service. Really pleased with the overall package and don't think I will be changing much.

I keep looking at wheels but completely lost on what to go for so pretty set on leaving it on the current RSTT's.

Looks absolutely lovely that. The V6 body styling makes such a huge improvement to the looks over the standard 225.

Any idea what power it's running?

I can't believe I missed this mate! Makes me proper jealous. Great cars an that has stunning spec with the mods. Perfect OEM+.

The only wheels worth changing for are the QS wheels, they sit so so well! Oh and a fruity exhaust!

It ran just shy of 290bhp when it was mapped at Badger5 in September. Goes really well!

They are the only wheels I really like on the MK1 TT.. Finding some genuine ones is a task in it's self. I saw some sell for £1,000 on eBay recently that required a refurb. Ludicrous prices!
