Ladybower Meet - 22/08/2010

Its been awhile since we've done this... great location, always an epic turn out with close proximity to the Midlands massiv, da South Yorkshire massiv and da North East massiv!! :approve:

Usual thing.. meet at the Ladybower inn pub? have a drink and a "chat", go for a drive, up and over Lady Bower, epic roads, stop off for some photos, drive on, and go for a pub lunch!?

Usual suspects, get your names and date suggestions down!

Where do you live? If I go I'll have an empty passenger seat so don't mind picking someone up if it's not too far out.

Not far from you - I'm in Stapleford. I can drive to yours but I will get left behind at Ladybower in my car.

Im up for this, if you do it mid day ish people can have breakfast inbetween the ladybower and derwent reservoir. Weekends are my only time for this, please before the 4th september.

The 22nd is fine as I said, but definitely not the bank holiday weekend if possible. I intend to be either:

a) Drunk
b) On holiday
c) Both

22nd is good for me,and if everyone else is ok with the meet location then the "strines inn" (s6 6je) is probably the best place to congregate b4 we set off.

Excellent,the sat nav has just told me its 92miles for me,....but do you know what!!,i dont care cuz i am going to enjoy every last millimetre of driving there.

I live in the NG5 area, if you was to come to me i could stick your car in the garage or meet me at my work place ng2 1lt seeing your around leicester an leave your car at my work place.

im at leicester uni but im off at the mo so i'm at home (Bramcote) so i'm guessing you sort of know where that is, but i'll drive anywhere. i've got a 1.2, in fact this is it:

Looks alright. Colour code the bumpers, side strips, door handles, spoiler and mirror covers and it'll look boshty.

Bramcote's only 5 minutes away from my house as well.
