ktec / forge dump valve honk

I recently bought and fitting a forge dump valve from Ktec in my Clio GT TCE, everything seemed to be fine but then in lower gears sometimes it makes a honking sound ? Also have a itg panel filter if that makes any difference, was thinking it could be that the spring is too stiff ?
