Knocking feeling in brake pedal after bleeding brakes

Hey guys.

I've just sanded a bit of paint off the rear brake pads so that they are more free in the caliper along with flushing out the old fluid and putting new fluid in.

Now when I press the brake pedal I can feel a physical knock through the pedal at around half way this is even when the vehicle is stationary so not abs related as in it thinks the wheels are locked.

Any one hazard a guess as to what it could be?
