Over the past week or so I've noticed a loud knocking noise coming from the front of the car. It only seems to happen at really low speeds, like when I'm coming to a stop. When the car is driving I cannot hear or feel the knock..
It is also making a faint whining noise when I dip the clutch when I'm driving at any speed.
The car has recently had a gearbox oil change.
I've been told it could be the diff that has gone but I'm just wondering if it could be anything else..
Any suggestions would be appreciated
