I have the same CMComposites front splitter. Where did you drill through and secure at the subframe?

19ABBC71-5655-4FD6-B644-E2D05C921921_zps8j3gxii7.jpg

I drilled to holes at the back of it, either side of the subframe when fitted and just used cable ties to stop it flapping around. Need it to be quickly removable lol

Lovely this. Good to see some things which haven't been done before. Using it as inspiration for my cup.
What did you use to wrap the wire with when you ran it down the sides? Mine looks grim at the moment because it's all running down the sides still.

Thanks matey.
Just black insulation tape bud.

Ahh I need some brakes for the front.
Gotta go under 15in speedlines
Only ones I can find that I like are the jamsport hispec kit with the AP bells and rotors.
Any ideas on others? Want them to be lighter than the brembo 197 aswell.

Did you get in touch with BIGASH about his alcons mate? They're potentially your only option tbh.

Brakes have gone on the back foot for month or so.
Just paid in full for RS2 manifold :)
Very last one James Stone had and may ever produce :) only spoken on the phone and over text but sounds a top bloke.
All tho it won't go on probably until winter, need to sort a ECU and get my mate BeanieSport to make me a loom.

Any suggestions on Ecu?

Can't wait to get my Hubs :)

Gen90 for ease of fitment mate. Allows you to retain your original loom but has all the functionality of any of the other ecu's out there.

Anyone have any issues with jamsport? Trying to order some brakes from them but they can't give me a date id receive them and never call me back and speak rather rudely on the phone. Considering id be spending £1200 they don't seem willing to help at all.

Anyway car still looks like this
9231248A-E425-46DA-B972-EE314C5BBED7_zpsry1wzmpa.jpg

should start moving forward soon as its getting warmer and the roll centre hubs nearly being done :)

The hi spec 300mm kit is pretty much the same (same callipers and pad size) but with 300mm rotors.

I've got a Gen90 ecu for sale if you want something plug and play.

Will the hispec kit fit under 15inch speedlines do you know?
That's why I was looking at the jamsport kit.
Pm'd regarding gen90 :)

Sorry if I've missed it elsewhere as I'm on my mobile but where's the splitter from?

Those vice inserts are very cool.

Do you not find the string is a little thick to get an accurate measure? I normally use fishing line with the car on the ground. I'm sure you've done all that really though!

Is that just a generic oil cooler and you make the lines yourself or part of a kit?

Yeah they're pretty cool, should save me from getting stabbed by the braided hose lol

Tbh I only used string to get the car moveable and to get it somewhere to be tracked properly.

Clio's looking more like a car now.

Sorted the dash out

And lobbed it in. Was a right fight and was rather floppy so had to make some brackets to support it.

I brought these hydraulic cable crimping tool to wired up the battery.

Also relocated the OBD port and airbag ecu (not that I have airbags but I don't wanna cut up the loom just yet)

Got the drivers seat in and the engine all back together

With the car out side and wired up thought I'd go for a run in it round the block, turned the key and it won't start. 😧 not sure why yet, engine turns a quarter and stops then there's a loud clicking noise so hoping starter or something simple.

Spent most the day on the clio so today I'm gunna put he exhaust on the K1

Having issues with the car starting. Bugging the crap out of me now. Have 12.5v at all power points, earths all good, crank sensor new and reading right, getting fuel, spark and it turns over by hand. Starter must be engaging as the crank does turn. Any ideas in going mad haha

Having issues with the car starting.
I've checked all power points and the battery which are 12.6v. When cranking the battery drops to 11.6v.

I've cleaned all the earth points and had the starter off, bench tested it and it fires and spins freely. I've even wedged the starter between the block and manifold connected the loom and it fires and spins again. But when it's bolted to the box it's just clicking and turning the crank in bits. I've changed the crank sensor and checked the loom which seems ok bar a few wires.

There's these wires near the ecu that aren't connected

73B295F4-5786-4EFA-9210-11692C67DCB3_zpsj6se5spv.jpg

And the black wires here

C6CC0DF4-BA6A-4C83-A95A-1F1FFD9DE05E_zpsze78juiu.jpg

The wires aren't connected to anywhere and I can't find a port missing a wire or the other end of the wires, hopeful as its a cup it doesn't need these but I'm unsure.

Engine turns over fine as well

Any help will be appreciated.

Immob seems ok. No flashing red light.
Yeah all seems good power wise.

How loud is the fuel pump wine on these when they prime?
Me strip out Ibiza was really noticeable but can't hear this but I've removed the fuel line on the fuel rail and when cranked plenty of fuel came through and covered the place lol.
