K&N Filter Oil on RAMAIR?

Just a quick question,

Found a bottle of K&N filter oil from my previous Clio and was wondering if I'd be okay using it when I come to clean and re-oil my RAMAIR foam filter?

Just out of interest, how olds the filter? I rang ramair due to another thread that said I should oil my filter, and ramair said it comes pre-impregnated in the manufacture process and only need to be done after cleaning. i'm not sure I believe them though as the filter shows no sign of being oiled :S

it would be advisable to use foam filter oil if you have a foam filter.
I had a ITG panel filter and used some motorex foam filter oil on it and now I have a BMC which is cotton and BMC cotton filter oil for it and I've seen that the foam oil is stickier compared to the cotton one.
