if u put uprated shocks on the back of a clio with a torsion bar it wont lower the car will it?

(jus to settle an arguement with an annoying mate)

If you dont adjust the torsion bar then no it wont. The fact that they are stiffer might even reduce the amount that the back of the car settles making it higher!!!! But thats just my theory which is probably all to c**k anyway!
