Isofix bar removal

  BG Clio 182 FF
Been having a look through some old threads for weight saving ideas and removing the isofix bar seems quite popular. Apparently weights a bit.

Just a quick question - does it affect the rear seatbelts in anyway, or is it purely for attaching baby seats? Obviously don't want to endanger any rear passengers just to save a couple of Kg's.

It's just for the baby seats, but it weighs sod all so you won't see any benefit,
the rear carpets weigh more than the isofix bar.

If you really want to shed some weight take the rear seats out,
the seat bases weigh nothing but the bench weighs a bloody tonne!

Done - after reading up on here I was expecting it to weigh a ton. 2.3kg. /\ Dave's right - thick boot lining weighs 2kg by itself.

Came out with just a ratchet - but was pre-soaked for a couple of hours with WD40.
