Is this 182 worth 2750?

Right lads i want to know if it seems over priced i have got the dealer down to 2750 basicly i just want opinions on what you think it worth?

Its actually pretty damn tidy and im just finding out on the belts now.

If it's in good condition and belts been done (with receipts) then I'd say it's worth a shout.

As above mate - if the belts have been done, and done properly, ie by a respected specialist/dealer - its a good price!

If they havnt its a £500-£700 job depending if you get the dephaser/waterpump done so I'd be knocking him down some more!!! lol

Yeah i noticed the front bumper respray. When i hear back from him about belts i will go and have proper look round and test drive.

I'm after either a 172 or 182 steve and finding it quite difficult at the moment but I'm like you, ill ask a lot of questions!!

Most I've inquired about have no or part history, havent had the belts done or have had them done but have no receipts! one person claimed that the proof the belts were changed was a small sticker on the windscreen of the car!

Well taking the belts aside for the mo- lets assume they are done- you are paying the 'bottom' end price for the car- but you are buying a bottom end 182-
Buying that identical car private would set you back 2k, so essentially youve paid a dealer 800 quid for a tatty car-
Obviously Im not trying to stop you buying non private- however if your going to a dealer you should find something a lot better for the 3250 mark that needs no work & is cup packed rather than spending 2750 for a car that when you get to the spend level of 3250 still isnt going to be 'that' good....

With your last one, if the car was being sold by a generic dealer who doesnt know much about renault sports he wont realise what a big deal the cambelt change is on these cars so might not mention it even if its had it done.

offer him 2k & leave your number- thats £750 extra off - covers possible dephasyer. & other little bits like mounts...
Dont take the car if they say they will do the belts-- but you know that!

Yeah I love that colour too lol. And without the belts being done it is pretty much a no yeah.

I like how when ever there is a cheap car people can just never let it be a cheap car! Not everyone lives in fairy land where their 182 is worth 6k anymore!! My 182 is for sale at 2k, belts done last year inc dephaser pulley and has both cup packs, and its by no means a shed!

*edit -id rather buy say for example a cheaper high mileage and have spare money left over to fix it if it went wrong!

This is the main problem i have is i cant travel far as i have no way of getting to say doncaster.

I have even been tempted to ask a few people if they could possibly bring the car to me but theres no chance in that.

Just take a risk! I picked it up from essex at midnight having left a £200 deposit that day! On the back of the recovery truck it went! I suppose its a bit different for me though as I had everything I would ever need to fix it

It has Cup alloys. Also its Arctic Blue! IMO the best colour for the 182!! I hardly think its the 'least desirable' colour in the 182 range!!!

sadly Arctic blue & Albi blue are the least desirable across the overall piste - renault have now discontinued this colour- however if you like the colour - then its fortunate its the cheaper end of the scale-
