Ignition on odd ticking noise ??

Can't say i have the same sound on mine bud. Heard something similar when the dephaser pulley is going but maybe wrong, I'm not all that clued up on these yet (only had mine a week)

Hope it's not something like that, it sounds fine when it's running it's just upto the point where you start the engine the noise is present

Hi Simon, i get the same noise on my 172 when the ignition is turned on, i've always worried about it but its not been a problem to worry about
