With FCS and track days the past two weeks, has been a lack of time for everyone to meet up at the same day/time. Can either merge the meets or still do the Redditch one soon?

We've done grand prix as Coseley and years ago did a 90 minute endurance in teams of 2 (so 3*15 minute sessions)...I nearly wrapped car round tree on way home as forgot kart tyres were much more stickier than Contis!

The GP would be best, but it all depends on numbers...if we get enough people, we can have it as a closed event...if not, it becomes an 'open' event where randoms can enter from the street, but 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies would go to people in our group, not the randoms.

alright donny i went to that karting place a couple of months ago and it was crap! the people who work there are idiots and talk to you like s***,the track is worse than the roads outside (loads of bounce steer) the karts are running real bad. they all run at different paces. and worst of all loads of gippos keep coming down in van fulls and hang around the car park and inside the building, not somewhere you want a load of nice rs clios and non sports being!! how about b'ham wheels outdoor track looks spot on weather depending?

Howdy, I've never been there (Tracks)...so will need to contact them for an idea of prices, etc. the only thing would be the weather. Also, dependant on numbers will reflect what we can do (event wise). I would be requesting at least £10 per person (depends on how much of a deposit that they want) in order to guarantee the place/event. In the event that someone wants to cancel, they will lose their deposit unless they can find someone to take it (otherwise I will be out of pocket). This will all be dependant on numbers, and getting a suitable date for all.

I can't believe Cannon have gone like that...they were a bit funny last time we were there, but I thought that was because some of the lads who came were professional karters with their track website on their overalls...so they (Cannon) were trying to be all 'professional'...maybe they've just become idiots...but it will be proven if they lose people's business.

I've been there in January, it was quite good. Bumpy circuit in parts but good fun. The marshals are quite lenient though, plenty of bumping going on.

Looking likely that the idea will be to do Karting in Halesowen (but it depends on numbers and date(s)), do you have any ideas? All ideas are welcome.

It will depend on price, what we get for the money and also how many cars they can hold/run.

ok i popped in today and spoke to emma who was very helpful and showed us round the rollers,
they will do us a power run day,which would consist of 3 power runs per car with print out and pdf format if wanted?
min needed is 10 cars but could do 20 over a full day starting at 9 am and the price would roughly £35 dependant on number ect.
the rollers are pretty much brand new and the place is spotless they have software available for mapping tuning ect should u want to re'book for a session.

what do u guys think?

Eccleshall is J15 M6 (or J14 and drive through Stone). Its North Stafford and is a place which is pretty small...just don't know whereabout Lohen is (but have heard of them).

Would be looking towards beginning of October on a Saturday, so would be 1st, 8th or 15th (but 1st is Burpspeed @ Oulton for those who are attending).

If you can let me know which date is best, get the general consensus and go from there. There will be a £10 deposit for those wanting to run and obviously this will be taken off the overall cost per person (just to save the 'I will...then don't' brigade).
