How to tell if i need replacement springs??

I've got a 172 cup and bought it lowered in Aug 2012.
I don't know what springs they are except they are red (and flaking).
Is there a way of telling if they need doing by just looking at them??? There not broken/snapped but for all i know, they might have been on the car for the last god knows how many years!!!!

Whats the best spring that matches cup shocks???

If it ain't broken don't fix it lol in this case anyway ! Jack it up rub the corroded spring down give them a quick blast with some underseal stop them corroding anymore ! Then leave them alone till they break ! Then get coilovers lol

Eibach, thats your fault i put cooksports kyle lol was staring at your post and wheels made my head go funny. No your probably right was more a guess if anything as i was comparing to yours and ride height looks pretty similar.

They creak like fook as well when someone gets out of front passenger seat lol
