***How much is it worth?***



How much are clio trophy turinis worth with 4 new falken tyres on which have done around 2000 miles so still like new?

The tyres cost 340.

One turini needs a refurb due to a bit of kerb rash round the edge, 2 are good, one has a bit of paint flaking round the edge from s*** tyre fitters

So yeah, a refurb will be needed

Renault have changed the Aux belt to 5 years which aligns with the cambelt.

The also moved the Megane R26 to 6 years instead of 5 years.

So.....bit confused here, should I get the aux belt changed, happy to if its needed.

I'm only selling because I fancy a Mk1 MX5, at this rate summer will be gone before the car is :)

If it wasn't for the missus moaning about having 4 cars I'd just go and buy one, they're only about a grand.

Ridiculous! so have they improved the quality of parts or were Renault just taking the pi$$! Are Megane belts better quality? The whole belt change on Renaults is a joke. Circa £600, I can drop an engine in for less so I reckon visual inspections and take a chance is the way forward.

I have an 04 182 in silver on 44k, it's has had no expense spared as has had all belts and bits changed as required. Recently had all new Renault shocks and 35 eibach pro spring all round. Full stainless lifetime guarantee exh. 4 new Goodyears all round, climate, half leather, zenons.. Basically is fully loaded and immaculate with cup pack. Known the car since new and has never seen a boy racer/wrecker in its life...

Don't get me wrong man, I had my aux belt changed just over two years ago... and I'm getting my timing belt done later this month so of course I'll change the aux belt (and tensioner) again regardless if it needs doing or not. I was only posting that to show what Renault themselves say!

I have a petrol blue 182, 66k miles belt done twice and dephaser pulley done, needs a frond passenger wing as it has a large crack in it 11 months mot 5 months tax, 05 plate whats it worth ?

Thinking of breaking car and going in another direction, have an idea how much most parts are worth just engine and box not sure what a fair price is. How much for high comp engine with forged internals and engine dynamic cams. Made 189bhp on rollers at rs tuning Leeds. Has just over 10k on it. Box has just been re built by agency last month. (Although investigating a whine) but how much for engine and box if all good? Belts due in two years.
 
My 182 FF BG, 70,000 miles 55 plate.

Belts were done 4 years ago by JMS, service book wasn't stamped, can't find the receipt (I'll try and find it). They need doing again I guess.
Backbox is still original, rusting, a hanger has already fallen off.
Boot lid has a dent over the number plate, needs pulling by a bodyshop, mobile chip/dent man couldn't do it.
Drivers side rear side strip missing. Got knocked off when someone hit it in a car park. Needs replaced and dent pulled.
Hasn't had a service for ages.
Steering wheel melted - missing rubbers.
Front splitter missing.
Rear bumper has a hole in it like a pellet shot.

Apart from that she runs well.

No service history prior to my ownership.
Belts done by RenTech Portsmouth at 84k, along with dephaser and water pump.
Had a sump leak which has been sealed, still a few leaks from the rocker.
Fully serviced every March.
Tax til April 15, MOT til Nov 2014

car is probably 1250 on its own. + whatever you get for the mods, usual resale is 25-50%.

How much are 4 anthracite 182 wheels worth? Not much left on the tyres? Maybe another 2k or so? Quite badly kerbed as well ; (
Tempted to get some turinis but not sure what I would get for current wheels.

Cheers. Might be worth hanging on to them if I did get the turinis, so if/ when I sold the car, I could sell the turinis separately and get my money back (ish) and then chuck the old ones back on.

Clio 182 FF artic blue 04 132k ish full cambelt/dephaser etc. done by Steve at Birchdown 124k, not due til April 2017 or 194k...plenty of history, cup racer speedline 2118's, good mich pe2 on front, worn contis on back, matched inlets, recent brembo hc's & pads and cup rear shocks, H&R fixed damping coilovers on front, tax til December, mot til June 2015, goes very well but gearbox is on it's way...diff bearings probably. Still looks ok but numerous dints, scratches and stone chips, and the wheels are very much race car than show car but it looks ok still...how much??
