Thinking of getting a 200 so wandered what people think it's worth if I go ahead with it

Cheap for a 182???

Just after a bit of advice really.

Thinking about putting the 182 up for sale/ or trading it in. This is not a for sale ad or anything, just thoughts at the moment.

Being honest, its not the best example. It needsall wheels refurbing, front bumper is cracked, 2 chips in the windscreen, its due a cambelt now. Mileage is 58k. I have stacks of history from from new.

What would people say is a good price for a quick sale??

Hard to say mate nothing seems to be shifting atm will you insurance company do the windscreen for free?
would clean it up as best as possiable before sale

I recently traded my '54 Inferno FF 182 in. 47k, good condition, belts done (dephaser was noisy though). Wheels needed refurb.

I was given £3500 and the garage sold it on for £3800 2 days later.

I bought my 182 rather cheap, I think.

04 plate, 75k, belts NOT done, other than that it had major services etc done. £3600. Then I paid for belts, oil change, dephaser pulley, plugs/leads as soon as I got it. Total spent ~£4.2k

I do need replacement suspension and engine mounts though. Aside from that it's fine.

You can pick up a reasonable 182 on those miles for 4.5k anyway now- with the belts done--
For a quick sale it needs to stand out-

List on AT for 3995 & take 3.8 for it- it wont sell if you list it for 4.5k- especially if its silver or arctic blue-

Inferno-- love em or hate em colour- As above although depends how long you want to wait-

Sorry, didn't state the age its June 05 (so on 05 plate) and its Inferno. I was thinking of asking for £3.5k and dropping a bit if needed.

I would prefer to trade it in but I can't see a dealer taking it with the faults.

A dealer would probably still take it. I have traded in cars in much worse condition that you state yours is.

My old 306 had a smashed front bumper, big dent in the quarter panel, ran like s**t and the wheels and tyres were screwed.

I got a cracking trade price for it too. It was 5 years old with 70k, part service history and modified. They gave me £6,700.

Granted they couldn't sell it, sat on the forecourt for ages, then was sent to auction where it fetched only £3,100.

Personally I wouldn't give more than £3500 for it. I'd have to source a new front bumper, sort a screen then pay £500 for the belts to be done. Bearing in mind the bumper will almost definately need spraying as an inferno one would be hard to source. All costs £'s.

New bumper won't be required. Its a small crack and have been quoted £200 inc spraying.

Thanks for the opinions, I'll see what some dealers say about a trade in. I think I'd rather keep it then let it go for less then £3k.

How much is she worth?

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen just wanted your opinion on how much i would get for the 197? had her since new 2008, 20k on the clock, FRSH, cup suspension, speedlines, recaros and tints. No mods completely Renault standard. Going to put her through her second service and poss treat her to 4 new tyres.

How much is my 172 Cup worth???

I'm looking to sell my 2002 172 Cup in a years time when i've finished paying the finance on it. How much can I expect to get for it? It's all in working order and pretty much standard apart from a stainless catback system, RSTuner remap and lowered. Its on 89k at the mo, will probably be close to 100k when I come to sell it. Dunno how much they fetch but I'm hoping for £2500, whether trade in or private.

Going to be selling in a week or two, just wondered what price I could expect?

Racing blue 05 182 cup, 54k - reg included - w5 cup
Full service history - Renault & ren-tec
Cambelt & auxiliary kit at 48k + service by ren-tec.
4 new tyres, around 1k miles.
Spark plugs changed at 52k + powerflex dogbone.
New front and rear shocks.
Discs and pads changed around 3k miles ago.
Completely standard car, runs perfect.

Just wondering if its worth waiting for a sale or trading it in?

I think it also has the cornering lights.

It has 11k miles and is a 2010 on 59 plate.

It's currently on at £15,995. If I was to offer cash for it (no part ex) what would you aim for?

coley that was my step bro's car for the last few years. cant comment on guide prices etc tho. he traded it in for 2600 a couple of weeks ago. he needed a bigger car to fit his dogs in. He is a senior renault technician too so its been well looked after. he was on here a while back.

I actually rang the renault dealership yesterday to check the service history, and spoke to him, Edd isnt it.

He said he looked after the car really well, and replaced lots of parts so hopefully will be a good little car

should be a good one. he has looked after it well, always use him to do any bits mine needs. I was tempted to have Ed's one in place of mine which is same age but on 72k as the bodywork on your one is better and it felt like it pulled better from passenger rides. decided against the hassle and ive only had mine 6 months. Are you based in norwich?

Well collected the car, really happy with it.

Driving position feels weird though, but it takes cornering to a new level.

It also seems to have a slight problem with the abs, it feels like its kicking in slightly even under very light braking???

Other than that I am really pleased with it
