May well be looking to sell my 182 daily around October/November.
It’s arctic blue, and will be at around 92k at time of sale. Aware it’s pretty much as average as they come mileage and colour wise.
It has full Renault SH to around 60k, then services at rentech every year after that.
Prior to myself it was one previous lady owner.
It’s in great condition for a 14 year old car.
The springs were changed for eibach sportlines 2 years ago, it’s also got a fully resonated milltek catback.
Other than that it’s completely original, the big belt service is due June next year (2019)

I have no idea how to price it other than between 1700 and 2600.
Any ideas? Those maybe who have seen it shows perhaps?

I have a Clio PH1, 1.2 Sport in metallic black, 3-door, fair condition, 74,000 miles, HPI Clear, has brand new Hella projector headlights, immaculate fog lights, good condition bonnet, front and rear bumpers. Does not appear to be any rust on the shell and sills are all good due to not having the plastic sill bodykit like the 2.0 sport.

Had been sat for a while, but started fine. Mot expired, but cant see any reason why it would not go through an mot. Needs a gearbox as only has four of the five gears due to one of the inner cv boots splitting and gearbox being run without oil. I have fitted a new inner boot to the driveshaft and filled box with oil in the hope it had survived, but no such luck!! It does drive in the four years it has and go in reverse. Crunches into most of the gears though.

After some advise as to what it would be worth in bits as quite a few of the cosmetic bits are the same as the 172 and getting a bit rare. Or for ease what it would be worth left in one piece as ideal for a first car or reshell. All the Clios that I had previously were PH2.

It’s not really worth more than scrap value so you’d be better off selling any parts that people want and then scrapping the rest for whatever they will pay you to come and collect it.

I bought a ph1 1.2 8v for £40 and sold it for £400 with 12 months ticket. Only had 45k on the clock but wasn't as well presented as yours as it was a bit tatty.

The owner then decided to give it me back a year later for free because they couldn't be arsed to MOT it (it had also sat the whole year and only done 1 mile as it was meant for her daughter but she hadn't passed her test yet) I started it after a new battery and MOT'd it again and sold it in March for £350.

I'd say around £400 if you can MOT it

There are plenty of £50 JB1 gearbox`s about.

Looks very tidy for it`s a age, £695 with Mot & box replaced, or keep as a spare car

I could get a box fairly easily, but not sure I can be bothered. Headlights are brand new so will sell as a pair if I break. Will make a decision by the weekend. Thanks for the comments.

How much is it worth? Clio dCi 100 Dynamic. 85,000 miles. Owned this car for the past 7 years!
Remapped to 120bhp, just had a new fuel pump / injectors fitted in the last year (costing over £800)
£30 tax a year, 45+ mpg & low insurance bracket. This car needs nothing!

Currently a sports replica; with a cup spoiler, front bumper, wings, side skirts and rear bumper fitted (Original items still present)
Can be included with either factory 15" alloys, wrapped in all weather tyres or Speedline 2118's with Michelin PS3's.
Literally just had new genuine rear discs fitted.

I also have a spare dCi 100, 2005, 80k (roughly) complete engine and gearbox (with injectors, turbo, cat, fuel pump... everything) which can be included in sale.
When removed ran spotless. I purchased this as a spare.

Drives, no issues but some service history history and some by local mechanic.
Bad issue, not had the cambelt service, runs fine, no noises, but of course its overdue on the age thing, but never done due to low miles and only typically 2500-4000 miles per annum but has been used every year without issue.

As such what its worth, does the late cambelt service seriously impact its value and only having some service history?
Seller wants 3k, expensive, cheap or about right?

I like the fact its standard, low miles, one owner, but if probably needs quite a bit spending on a major service for all belts and its got cheap tyres on it, so needs a set of tyres.

Sounds remarkably like the cup I have just seen tonight which I didn’t end up buying. Never had a cambelt and dephaser rattling and service history patchy. 1 owner from new. 55k miles.. Tyres and wheels need sorting along with a raft of other parts after a look around I walked away. That was up at £1,950. Which was overpriced and not for me in the end.

Ah I meant 2k so probably same car, what raft of other parts did you find wrong with it mate? So would need to budget for all belts, cambelt kit, dephaser pulley etc which is about £750?
 
How much?

182 cup, 69k miles, 3 owners, recaro seats, belts etc done at 54k a couple years ago, recently serviced, new rear calipers/discs/pads/braided lines/fluids, 4 x michelin pilot sport 3, cooksport springs, miltek cat back, polybushed dog bone.

MOT - May 2019

Bad points - wheels need redone, a few age related marks but nothing bad few stone chips etc its a 05 plate car, the A/C isn't that cold and the normal melting on the steering wheel.

Good bodywork.
Missing splitter.
Turinis painted gold.
Stainless exhaust protruding under rear bumper. Bumper not been cut.
Serviced but belts overdue.

I reckon around 2.5k-3.5k

Not many pearl black left at all. PH1 tax is on the rise too and if it doesn’t have rust then it’s one of the good ones

No rust on this one behind skirts which was a lovely surprise! Kept it to a spec I can quickly return to near standard. Belts are getting done asap so I'll go from there.
 
Got a 1.6 mk2 about 110k on the clocks, has a fresh mot but the clutch release needs doing as clutch is real stiff/notchy, not very clean but pulls fairly well, has 2 ps3 on the front and 2 off the car that could come with it, epas and various trim bits and pieces..

Yeah they're hard to find nowadays. Sunflower and odyssey will demand higher prices because of the "rarity" but Pearl Black there aren't many left of them
PH1 172 will become the Clio equivalent of flat floor E type.

Agreed, a non rusty ph1 will be 5k sooner or later. People are already paying 10k for Valvers and 15k for Williams'!!!

Ok titanium Clio 172 phase 1.

2 owners from new (family), serviced by supplying Renault dealer from new, just had belts and ps3 all round, 69k.

Thoughts?
