Guys how much are 172s going for at the moment? I might be selling mine shortly and im not sure how much i should be putting it in the Trader for.

Its an 02 172 Silver, 45ml Yamex springs, 17" OZ Super Legerras, Full Magnex exhuast with Oval Tail pipe, Induction Kit, 12 months Tax. 17500 Miles.

Suggestions would be appreciated. I have had a look in the Trader to get ideas but there isnt anything in there that gives me an idea.

Prices are pretty depressed at the moment.

Take your mods off and sell seperately. I guess youll get about £7500 for the car - maybe wise to ask more, but if you have a look through the for sale ads on here its tough to get more than that for an 02.

lol 7500 no chance part ex low 6s really sub six if an import private maybe 7 if your very very very lucky unfortunatly yours is very high mileage compared to whats out there oh and they just dont sell

as mike says take the mods off and sell seperately youll see more cash back that way. Prices are pretty low at the moment unfortunately so you wont get as much as the car is worth, best bet is to put it up in autotrader for about 8500 ono and see if you get any interest at least that way you have some room to be beaten down on the price a bit before you hit the trade value
