Help with Coilovers?!

i hope this is the right section! lol

im looking a set of coilovers for my 2001 clio. ive seen a couple of sets that are within my budget (GAZ and VMAXX) but ive heard that the coilovers can cause the roof to kink, would this be true and how could i stop it from happening?

Lol am only joking bud, it's a rumour that people seem to believe is true. Plenty of people on here with coils and never heard of one bending.

If you pay your membership fee theres a group buy on Vmaxx coils, think there going for £300 or so.

ah rite! i dont have the money for them atm so itl prob be closer to the summer. so wont get the group buy in time lol! cheers

only way theyll cause the roof to kink is if you drive into a wall !

Or fit a strut brace

ive a strut brace ordered but that only helps the steering! the coils are to make it lower.

Cancel the order for the strut brace its usless on a Clio the Turrets are so close tho the Bulkhead theres no need for one !

i got it cheap and im not bothered about its performance. its just to look good under the bonnet lol!
